The K Club and Wedding Day!

The K Club and Wedding Day!

I know I’m behind! But I can sum up the K Club and wedding pretty quickly. It was absolutely beautiful there!

The K club reminded me of being on the Titanic in its aesthetic. It was old and classy and fancy and I would have never stayed there or found it if not for the wedding.

On Friday night, we had a lovely dinner. The app was a Filet carpaccio, one of my favorite app options out there but the highlight was the pavlova dessert. I almost ate two if I wasn’t so full already.

Saturday was the wedding. We were up at breakfast at 7am because I insisted on going to breakfast (which is included in the price of the room) before going to my 8am hair appt. I had a full Irish breakfast situation which included black and white puddings as well! (Pudding is meat?) Also there is a hash brown under that egg, which was delicious. I wouldn’t imagine an Irish dish without a potato. Chris had eggs Benedict which is something I never really order but was super good. In addition there was a little breakfast buffet with breads and juices and fruit and honey comb.

The wedding was a class act. I loved the hair and makeup. Both artists did a great job on everyone. Julie looked amazinggggg of course. We left for the church around 11:45, got back for the reception at 3:00. From 2-5 we mingled with champagne among the gardens.

From 5-9 we ate and from 9-2 we danced the night away with an amazing band! I danced so hard that I twisted my ankle and Chris had to help me as I hobbled off the dance floor. I could barely walk but when Bwitched “C’est la Vie” started to play I had to run back up and dance. My ankle is not so happy with me but needless to say it was really a great wedding and we had a nice time and definitely need to catch up on sleep!
