We lost our parents!

We dropped off our bags and went for a quick lunch at Solino Cafe nearby. They had really delicious coffee and the food was awesome. Aunt Mare and Papa both had an English Breakfast which had eggs and sausage and beans. I tried a Hungarian French Toast which was normal French toast but no syrup. Instead, there was melted cheddar cheese on top of the bread and beet cream cheese underneath. Quite yummy!

After lunch, Chris, Alyssa, and I decided to run to a store and buy shampoo and conditioner which we decided not to pack to be able to save space. We passed the apartment where we were staying and dropped our parents off to start a quick nap. I had sent a screenshot of the instructions on how to get in to the apartment during lunch.

The first store we went to was closed, so we ventured to another store. After completing our purchases and returning to the apartment, we were gone about 45 minutes. We got back and assumed they were napping and we started unpacking and organizing. After maybe 5-10 minutes, I thought it was odd that we didn’t hear any snoring. I checked their beds and they were empty! “Oh my god guys they aren’t here!”

We laughed and laughed and laughed that we lost our parents and when I looked at my phone, it turns out they couldn’t figure out how to get in to the apartment!

At some point, a neighbor found them and took them in nearby. Christopher went out on the little courtyard balcony and yelled out for them and thankfully the nice neighbors returned our parents.

I guess when Aunt Mare took a screenshot of my screenshot, she didn’t click the picture so the code that was on the bottom was not in her instructions.

One hour into this family trip and we lost them. The funny orange hats will have to stay on.
