Our fake Tapas tour

We thought it would be fun to have a drink and an app at different places since we were having a late lunch. We started at a little touristy place and ordered piri-piri prawns and a Portuguese sausage and garlic bread.

The sausage is not pictured because the very nice man running the place lit it on fire across the restaurant and then burned his hand when he went to bring it over to us. It was not funny but a little funny. (Not a serious burn!)

We wandered the streets trying to find a place called jukebox tapas that we had googled in advance but when we got there, they said we needed a reservation and they were full for the night!

We stopped for a drink near our apartment and then went back out to find the next place.

We kept wandering and found a little Italian place. We wanted just a drink and something small. However the “stuffed foccacia” was essentially foccacia topped with a charcuterie board. So we ate quite a bit here.

Next stop back to Beer and Co under our apartment. They had live music and a nice crowd so we went down for a drink and met up with our neighbors, Veronica and Jason.

It does get pretty chilly here at night, we were all wearing sweatshirts and Veronica even had a blanket.

Last stop was a place called Pie where I forgot to take pictures because it was late but you basically create your own chicken or meat pie and they were realllllly good.

Then we continued the party back at the apartment. Everything still has to close by 10:30 here so the rooftop and wine has been a great end to all of our nights.
