Well here it is! This was not an easy one to put together and I am still adding a few things here and there. Finalized the train tickets today, made a dinner reservation yesterday, and hopefully will make a decision on where to eat in Lyon on Sunday night. Will any Michelin star restaurants even have reservations this late in the game?
But truly, I think I have outdone myself on this itinerary. Hopefully my driving time estimates are correct and we get everywhere on time with not too much traffic!
Weather is looking decent, between 65 and 73 during the day and low of 45 at night. Its been changing a lot too though. One day I looked and it was raining in Nice all week, then the next day when I checked it is clear skies every day! I tried to pack weather appropriate clothes so I don’t get caught freezing again. That was a lesson learned in Morocco. The weather isn’t warm just because you hope it will be warm.
I was procrastinating packing which is super odd for me. I used to take out my suitcase two weeks in advance to get ready for a trip. I guess with all of the moving this year, I was happy to have the suitcase away for a bit. I also needed to buy something new! It was the first trip that I hadn’t bought any new clothes to wear! I solved that problem yesterday with a trip to the Gap. Now I can’t wait to wear my new button up jeans with the perfect plain beige tshirt.
Here goes another adventure. We are heading to the land of wine and food!
