Well, here it is. My most detailed itinerary yet. What my dad calls a “military vacation”. But, I think if you are traveling in a group of 5 that it will be best to have everything planned in advance. Especially since no one else seemed to have any interest in researching things to do or food to eat. So lots of planning over almost 10 months and we are finally taking off tonight.
This is my first trip with two flights back to back to get to a destination but I’ve seen some pictures of Budapest and I think it’s really going to be worth it!
And what is the worth on this budget travel trip? Well, $630 RT for the flights, and $980 for lodging for the week. Yes, two apartments totaling 7 nights that sleep 5 people. So $200pp for a whole week of lodging. Eastern Europe is where it’s at for a budget vacation.
