Lunch at Taj Mahal
Well, when you have a beautiful view above the city, you should realize that there would be 15 flights of stairs to get here. Walking down, not terrible. Walking back up later? Near death.
We headed to Taj Mahal which I ate at last time I was here and remembered it to be amazing.
We didn’t want to eat too much because of our sleep deprivation. The top is an eggplant dip, the bottom is a cucumber, tomato, and pepper salad over Greek yogurt type dressing, and the meat is ciavapi (Bosnian sausages), and veal kebabs with a baked potato stuffed with some fluffy cheese. Perfect amount of food.
The real reason to go to Taj Mahal is the Bosnian coffee, which is the same as Turkish coffee which is beautiful and delicious.
After lunch we wandered the streets, found some iced lattes, took photos and then hiked up the bajillion steps back to our airbnb with the beautiful view.
