Sand and Charcuterie

Got back from the winery, changed into bathing suits and headed for the beach!

The beaches are so pretty and not nearly as full as they likely are during a real summer. We never have trouble finding a spot to sit. The sun is out until almost 9pm so beaching from 4-6 is a nice time of day.

We decided we were hungry again around 8:30 and everything closes at 10:30 so we had to find a place quickly. We wrote down some places to try but the map confused me and after walking in circles we just sat down at a little Italian place for a charcuterie board.

Huge amount of food. Prosciutto and salami and mortadella and other meats. Corrine got to try a fig for the first time on there too. The board also came with a lot of bread and some more tapas. One had chorizo, one had eggplant, and the last one was like a cold breaded tomato salad. Everything was soooo delicious.

We finished the night with a drink at the bar under out apartment and happened to run into a girl who is staying in the same building. We invited her up for a drink, then invited the bartender from downstairs up for a drink, and had a little rooftop gathering until about 3am when we finally decided it’s time to sleep.
