We arrived in Florence in the evening. Didn't want to eat too much. Adam googled "Best Pizza in Florence" and we ended up at Gusto Pizza. They had little tickets for the pizza that people wrote on and put into view under the glass table top. Adam suggested writing a shameless plug for my website and then we spent ten minutes trying to push it into the best spot with a fork, knife, receipt, and dollar. The pizza dough was really really good and i pretty much only ate the crust. I would certainly recommend Gusto Pizza and I can see why it was so busy late at night. Pizza and Wine!
Also we filled our wine glasses and walked home with them because you can drink in the streets here...woo! Oh and its cold and we wore our matching rain coats. Next post: Chianti! The rolling hills of wine and olives.
